Logger Belle Amie
Sailing through the Baltic Sea on the traditional sailing vessel Belle Amie.
Educational voyage, group trip, youth holiday, team building, incentive, carbon-neutral school trip, family outing, corporate sailing trip or participation for individual bookings and groups at sailing events – with Belle Amie no wish remains unfulfilled, as the ship can accommodate 26 overnight guests and 50 day guests on voyages. Experience traditional sailing in a sailing adventure, snorkelling, exploring the Baltic Sea with subs & dinghy, water fun, barbecue, night sailing, anchoring and much more.
Belle Amie was built in 1915 at the van der Windt brothers' shipyard in Vlaardingen, NL. In 1927 she received her first engine, and was then sold by the Ritscher company from Moorburg to Sweden.
There the ship initially served in fishing as Helga, as a cargo ship in the archipelago around Gothenburg as Prins Axel, and from 1968 as Belle Amie as a sail training ship for a nautical school.
The historic sailing ship has survived two world wars and several economic crises and presents herself today at least as proudly and authentically as she did over 100 years ago.
