In 2026 we once again have dates for 'strong wind training' // the focus is mainly on safe sailing in open water - approaching sheltered spots - in strong winds / storms.
Strong wind sail training planned for 11.04. - 18.04.2026 and possibly 24.10. - 31.10.2026
Starting point is Medulin near Pula - Istria - or sometimes alternatively in Dalmatia, from Marina Sukošan.
The planned trips 'Kornati special' are designed so that sailing is mainly in open water, partly by day and night. The Kornati archipelago lies in the middle of Dalmatia - Zadar region - weather-wise it is often a challenge to get there. That's precisely why it's ideal for a training trip - skipper training - mile building etc.
Skipper training, mile building, current dates, additional information are online at;
We offer training weeks - practical training both for skippers and for 'not yet' skippers. However, you must already have sailing experience; these sailing weeks are not suitable for beginners.
It must be clear, a skipper training week is not a bathing trip, although with suitable weather there is of course time for a refreshing dip in the water.
The skippers who lead the respective training courses have several years' experience in sail training and are happy to pass on this knowledge - sailing experience.
On the skipper training courses - on 4-cabin monohulls - there are usually 5 to 6 guests on the boat.
Often 4-cabin monohull yachts such as Bavaria C 45 BT / Elan 444 Impression / Sun Odyssey 44i etc. are used for these training courses.
