Fancy a week away from it all – sun on your skin, wind in your face and the feeling of truly being on the move? Then come aboard and discover Sicily from the sea: turquoise bays, warm temperatures and that special blend of ease and vibrancy that southern Italy is known for.
📍 We start and finish in Palermo and sail – depending on wind, weather and the crew's joint decision – along the northwest coast. We might anchor off Scopello, swim in the clear waters of the Riserva dello Zingaro or visit a coastal town such as San Vito Lo Capo or Cefalù. The route remains flexible to leave room for genuine experiences.
🇮🇹 What makes this trip special is the Sicilian way of life. An espresso in the morning overlooking the bay, an afternoon swim in the warm, clear water, an evening stroll through small harbour towns enjoying fresh fish, pasta or antipasti. The days are sunny and easy, temperatures in August usually between 28 and 33 °C – ideal conditions for relaxed sailing, swimming and savouring.
👍 This is a cabin charter trip. That means: you're part of the crew. Everyone pitches in with setting and stowing the sails, manoeuvring in harbour or anchoring. That's exactly what makes it special – being on the move together, sharing responsibility and not just watching the sea but actively experiencing it. You don't need any sailing experience. An experienced skipper leads the boat and explains everything step by step.
⛵ We sail on a comfortable Bavaria Cruiser 45. The yacht has four double cabins, a spacious saloon with galley, several heads and a roomy cockpit with teak and bathing platform. There's plenty of space for privacy as well as for evenings together on deck. A motorised dinghy and SUPs extend the possibilities for shore visits and swimming breaks.
👫 The trip is aimed at families, couples, friends or solo travellers who aren't looking for a regatta but an active yet relaxing break on the sea.
