Swiss Adventures Join the delivery voyage of S/Y Rägeboge from Fiji to New Zealand – around 1,200 nautical miles of genuine bluewater sailing across the South Pacific.
In October 2026 we are planning the passage from Vuda Marina in Fiji to New Zealand. We will depart in the first suitable weather window from mid-October onwards. Depending on wind and weather conditions, the passage will take about ten days.
The crew should arrive in Fiji towards the end of the first week of October. This allows sufficient time to prepare the boat together, stock up on provisions and wait for the right weather window.
As the departure date depends on the weather, time flexibility is important. The recommended travel period is approximately between 10 October and 6 November 2026. You should only book your return flight from New Zealand – ideally once our arrival date can be better estimated.
This is not a classic sailing holiday but an active ocean delivery. All crew members will stand watches, help with setting and stowing sails, assist with the onboard routine and shape life aboard together. Offshore experience is an advantage, but more important are team spirit, reliability and enjoyment of sailing.
After the New Zealand summer, Rägeboge will make the return voyage to French Polynesia in March 2027.
