No sailing experience necessary.

🔷Daily routine aboard the Zevenwouden:
On arrival aboard you will be welcomed by the captain and crew, who will explain the most important 'ship's rules'. You'll meet your fellow sailors and together discuss the sailing trip. On the first sailing day you will also receive a detailed explanation of the vessel and the sails. After that, the sails are hoisted together and the course is set for the first port of call. The adventure begins!

Each day we sail an average of 5–8 hours. You are of course very welcome to lend a hand, whether hoisting sails, during manoeuvres or in the galley! You're also welcome to take the helm yourself or climb into the bowsprit net. There's plenty to experience and much to learn about traditional sailing. Besides the active sailing, there's also time underway to relax, enjoy pleasant conversations with your fellow crew or simply take in the surroundings.

At the end of each day, you'll put into a cosy harbour. Of course, besides the sailing, there's always plenty of time to get to know the country and its people. The route is never fixed in advance, but depends on wind and weather. Relaxing days with sun are just as possible as days with strong winds and challenging sailing – it's the mix that makes it.

The crew of the Zevenwouden will cook for you and the guests take turns with galley duties (laying the table, chopping vegetables, washing up). There is daily breakfast, a light lunch and a hot evening meal. Drinks are available on board at fair prices.
