Germany's longest 'fjord', the Schlei, is one of Germany's most beautiful landscapes and with the 'Am Wind' is a wonderful starting point for sailing to the most characterful islands of the Baltic Sea.
Cabin charter is easily possible without prior knowledge. Skipper training, gaining experience, safe sailing and having fun are the trip's objectives. Teaching units such as weather at sea, route planning, harbour manoeuvres, sail trim, safety briefing and navigation are standard. Proper use of the ICOM DSC radio, radar, AIS, EPIRB, NAVTEX, sextants, bearing compass, engine knowledge, recovery manoeuvres and also exam topics are explained clearly as required. Anyone considering buying a boat has an excellent opportunity to receive my advice. I'm happy to explain the pros and cons using boats lying in harbour.

The SY 'Am Wind' was built for the high seas. She is very safe and equipped for training with everything necessary for sailing and radio licence examinations. She has excellent sailing characteristics (optimised underwater hull, Jefa steering system, folding propeller, electric winches, self-tacking jib, etc.) that delight everyone.
