2026, week 41, MILE BUILDING, a week's sailing with your own crew and a professional skipper on a Swan 48
At the beginning of the sailing trip, cabins are allocated as booked.
Personal belongings are stowed and provisioning is discussed with the skipper.
The skipper begins the safety briefing, which includes the handling of automatic lifejackets, storage and handling of distress signals, the life raft and fire extinguishers. Comprehensive instruction is given on each person's safety behaviour on deck. Explanations of technical installations, such as sea valves (shut-off valves), pumps and instruction in the use of the marine toilet are also included.
