The LRC-Funkschein<\/span> (Long Range Certificate) is an internationally valid radio certificate for worldwide maritime radio services. It authorises you to operate radio equipment on pleasure craft via VHF, medium wave and short wave as well as satellite, and enables communication even far from the coast. The LRC-Funkschein is particularly relevant on the high seas \u2013 for example during transatlantic sailing trips or circumnavigations \u2013 because radio is the only reliable link to other vessels and rescue services when no mobile phone network is available. The LRC is called Allgemeines Funkbetriebszeugnis<\/i> in German and always includes the Short Range Certificate (SRC)<\/a> as a foundation.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
