As a surveyor who has carried out very many purchase consultations and valuation reports, I was familiar with the problems on boats and yachts. Documentation is one of them. In November 2015 I wanted to find an app that could do this. Since this app did not exist anywhere in the world, I decided to invent one myself. This journey was very instructive and also costly, but in September 2026 the Platinum Boat App was ready and has since been delivered in 175 countries and 9 languages. The app can capture all documents, record all investments, all manuals for equipment are always at your fingertips, insurance claims can be conveniently recorded and reported directly from the app, and all documents are also available for police checks. When the boat is sold, the entire history of the boat including all documents and receipts is transferred to the buyer with just a few clicks
