The weekend course runs over 4 weekend days, each from 10 am to approx. 2 pm. Dates here:
14, 15, 22, 28 November

What's included in the price:
- the complete theory course
- an initial motorboat trip with up to 3 students on board, where you learn and practise all the manoeuvres
- a longer revision session (or two shorter ones) before the exam, where we simulate the exam so you feel confident
- the trip on our motorboat during the exam

You can book additional practical hours for a small extra charge.

With the Sportbootführerschein See you may operate motorboats over 15 HP on navigable sea waters: on the German coast, on the Kiel Canal and in the areas up to the seaports, for example the Elbe up to Hamburg. The licence is valid without length restriction and is recognised in many countries.
You'll learn the theory with us in small groups in Cologne: regulations for navigable sea waters and collision regulations, lights and sound signals, buoyage, chart navigation, weather and seamanship.
You'll do the practical training on our motorboat MOBO in the Rheinauhafen, right on one of the world's busiest waterways with the cathedral from the river included. The course fee includes an initial trip with up to 3 students on board where you'll learn and practise all manoeuvres, a revision session before the exam where we simulate the exam, and the trip during the exam itself.
Requirements: minimum age 16 years, medical fitness certificate and a valid driving licence (or certificate of good conduct). No prior experience needed.
