With clear theory, practical training and a love of watersports, we'll prepare you for your time on the water.

Learning to sail on the Wakenitz

Right on the Wakenitz in Lübeck you can discover the basics of sailing on our dinghy courses. You'll learn to steer your boat, trim the sails to suit the wind and carry out important manoeuvres. Our sailing instructors will support you with patience and individual tips. Step by step, you'll gain confidence and trust in your abilities.

You've already completed a dinghy course and want to keep going? At regular practice sailing sessions you can consolidate your skills, try new things and meet other sailing enthusiasts. Sailing together, exchanging experiences and making contacts for further sailing days – it's all part of it.

Powerboat licences: Your start at the helm

Do you want to skipper a powerboat yourself? We'll prepare you for the SBF See and SBF Binnen licences. We combine the theoretical foundations with practical training at the helm. You'll cover traffic rules, navigation and safety among other things, and practise the manoeuvres relevant to the exam. Our aim is for you to apply your knowledge confidently even after the test.

Radio licences: Communicating safely on board

Radio is part of everyday life on board for many watersports enthusiasts. On our radio courses you'll learn how to operate a radio, conduct conversations correctly and call for help in an emergency. We'll prepare you for the relevant radio exam and practise the procedures with you, so you can communicate safely and clearly on board.

Sail training on the Baltic

Do you want to experience sailing on a yacht or build on your existing knowledge? On our sail training trips on the Baltic, what you've learned comes alive in everyday life on board. You'll get stuck in, take on tasks in the crew and gain experience at the helm.

Sailing manoeuvres, navigation, harbour manoeuvres and living together on board all go hand in hand. Under the guidance of our sailing instructors you'll learn to understand decisions, assess situations and take responsibility. At the same time you'll experience the Baltic from a fresh perspective – with wind in the sails and a shared course to the next harbour.
