LEAD & SA!L - Recognise the essential and you can lead with certainty
Set your course first, then hoist the sails: aboard the LEAD & SA!L Crew, leadership reveals itself not in theory but with every "next manoeuvre". SK!PA combines decades of experience both as an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore / Cruising instructor and in systemic leadership training into a function that scarcely exists in this combination anywhere else — not a sailing instructor who happens to coach on the side, but a trainer who knows what leadership feels like under real conditions on the water.

Frequently asked questions
LEAD & SA!L (leadandsail.com) is a leadership training programme under sail, with a focus on systemic leadership – often with no prior sailing experience whatsoever. Basically Frank operates worldwide, but both formats we organise take place in the Croatian island world. Start and finish is Marina Punat on Krk.
Systemic thinking and action is consistent and profoundly thought through, and corresponds to a view of humanity that is based on genuine principles. Leadership, or self-leadership, is thought of more broadly, and distinguishes among other things between management (daily business) and leadership, which works on the system. Both functions require – and need each other – for lasting success to be achieved. "Keeping the system open" is of crucial importance, and means the alignment or orientation towards the needs of society and the resulting mission of the system. The central point to which the entire system in all its levels relates. This connects and facilitates the handling of conflicts and other emerging symptoms. Systemic maturity development, thinking in functions and the effective handling of guiding principles are the three important pillars.
During the seminar week, principles are experienced practically and also deepened theoretically to an appropriate extent. Prior knowledge is not necessary.
You must be able to swim.
Privacy and a safe retreat are essential for personal development.
For team training, there can be up to 5 team members in exceptional cases.
