45°Nord – Sailing with heart, experience and an eye for the miles

For us, sailing is more than just getting from A to B – it's freedom, community and genuine experience on the water.
45°Nord stands for carefully planned sailing trips, personal support and genuine life on board. The people who sail with us love the sea – whether they want to log nautical miles, deepen their experience or simply spend a special time under sail.
We offer selected mile-building trips in the Canary Islands. This sailing area impresses with steady winds, a mild climate and exciting distances between the islands – ideal for building up nautical miles while experiencing genuine offshore sailing.
Our trips are accompanied by experienced skippers who are happy to pass on their knowledge and actively share their experience with the crew. Whether it's night passages, watch systems, navigation or harbour manoeuvres – with us you don't just come along for the ride, you get properly involved. At the same time, there's plenty of time for relaxed evenings in the cockpit, shore excursions and that special feeling of being underway.

We place great importance on:
- small crews and a pleasant atmosphere
- safety, experience and thorough planning
- genuine sailing involvement, not just being a passenger

If you're keen on miles, the sea and togetherness, you've come to the right place.
Come aboard – we look forward to having you!

Lovely sailing trip in your own cabin

I had already done a tidal trip with Kai in Lemmer last year and wanted to try the Canary Islands/Atlantic experience this time. Tommy was the skipper. All in all, it was a wonderful trip with lots of great impressions and a very personal touch.

• Anchoring: Several stops for anchoring and swimming
• Sights: Saw a lot during the legs of the trip
• our round trip went from Lanzarote to Fuerteventura (around 200nm in total)
• Small crew: There were only three of us including the skipper — a very small, personal group.

About the skipper Tommy
• Highly competent: Tommy really knew his stuff — navigation, weather assessment and local conditions were all spot on.
• Took individual wishes into account: He responded flexibly to our ideas and explains things well
• Safe and friendly: Calm manner, good explanations

About the starting point: Marina Puerto Calero
• Very well suited: The marina was a great starting point.
• Infrastructure: Shop nearby, everything essential easily reachable.
• Getting there: Taxi from the airport around €20

Conclusion & recommendation
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personal, well-organised Atlantic trip in the Canary Islands. Wonderful nature experiences (dolphins, anchoring…), an experienced and considerate skipper, and the convenient location of Marina Puerto Calero make this trip a complete success. A clear recommendation from me.
