Barfuss Segelreisen GmbH
Our philosophy is to sail in the world's most beautiful sailing areas while treating ourselves to some really good food along the way. We combine visits to varied cultural sites with sporty sailing, swim in paradise-like bays, snorkel and enjoy the sunny weather. A close and friendly relationship with our fellow sailors during and after the trips is also very important to us.
Why Barfuss?
The name Barfuss-Segelreisen comes from the term "Barfussroute" (barefoot route). This describes a circumnavigation of the globe through the trade wind regions, which lie in the tropics and subtropics. It is correspondingly warm there, and the perspiring sailor is happy to shed their footwear.
We too enjoy travelling in warm regions, and so the idea for the name Barfuss Segelreisen was born.
We sail two yachts on different routes and love spending nights at anchor in bays. As our boats are exceptionally well equipped for long-distance voyages, we can enjoy anchoring independently of marinas. Although the yachts are approved for more passengers, we take a maximum of six guests. Both boats also feature a spacious cockpit, a generous saloon and a lovely galley. There's plenty of privacy on board, as each cabin has its own bathroom and toilet.
