It is always exciting as a solo traveller to spend a week on a boat with strangers.
Skipper Christian put together a good crew for the trip from Venice to Trogir and managed to keep spirits high throughout the week with his manner, even in bad weather. The nights were very varied with anchoring, harbour and town quay.
The catering was also varied (restaurant visits and cooking ourselves). The skipper is himself an excellent cook.
Due to his enormous experience he always radiates calm and is also able to explain his decisions in a comprehensible way – so as a beginner you can naturally gain a great deal of know-how. Skipper Christian was also always open to any questions and the crew members were involved in all decisions.
It really was a fun and exciting week on a superbly equipped yacht. Highly recommended at any time.

As a sailing novice I chose the trip with 600 nm and several night passages in order to learn as much as possible. Christian explained everything to me in detail during our first phone call and took a great deal of time for my countless questions.
The boat is really comfortable and immaculately maintained, I felt very much at home there. Although I had brought hardly any sailing experience with me, Christian fully integrated me into the crew and gradually explained and showed me everything. The night passages in particular were exciting and an unforgettable experience.
The crew was in good spirits and the evenings together in restaurants and/or on board were great fun. Christian is very personable and has some highly entertaining stories up his sleeve. And he's a good cook too!

I had the good fortune — at 74 years of age and with 40 years of skippering experience — to enjoy the trip from Athens to Corfu as a crew member. It was marvellous to experience this extremely experienced skipper Christian, who impressed with his knowledge of the sailing area, his confident seamanship and his outstanding boat.
Whether in calm conditions (one day) or frequently in strong winds (mostly on the nose: tacking, tacking, going about, tacking ....) the mood was always excellent, the crew was brilliantly involved and there was enough time for glorious bays and caves with snorkelling, charming harbours with delicious tavernas and interesting excursions. I had the pleasure of sailing across the open Mediterranean from Barcelona to Sicily with skipper Christian. The trip was an enriching experience all round and for me probably the most instructive trip to date. For a sailor's heart the boat is a dream — comfortable and at the same time fast.
Particularly memorable — alongside the turtles, whales and dolphins — was an exciting night passage in 5–6 Bft winds and 3-metre-high waves, during which Christian showed me how I could keep the boat safely on course downwind despite the darkness using the compass and the stars appearing now and then. Moreover, his colleague Frank took the time to show and explain all sorts of things inside the boat to me throughout the trip.
And finally, just as brilliant as the time on the boat were the moments ashore, for instance the entertaining evenings in restaurants, whose liveliness was always guaranteed with the personable skipper.
So all in all, recommended to everyone!
