Heinz is the founder, owner and captain here at Swiss Adventures. The Swiss native moved to the USA in 1996 to pursue his dream career in high-tech. After a long career, he is fulfilling his new dream of passing on his passion for sailing and adventure to other people.
Heinz has been sailing for over 35 years and has experienced the Atlantic, the Pacific, the North Sea, the Baltic Sea and the Mediterranean. Heinz holds a USCG 50T Near Coastal Master licence. He is also a US Sailing instructor for small keelboats and holds a Swiss offshore yacht master licence.

Willkommen an Bord! Swiss Adventures wurde 2015 gegründet. Wir bietet Tagessegeltouren in der San Francisco Bay und Segelabenteuer an anderen Orten rund um den Globus an.
Wir lieben das Segeln und möchten unsere Abenteuer jedem zugänglich machen, der mitmachen möchte. Unsere Gebühren tragen dazu bei, die Bootskosten auszugleichen. Am Ende der Saison spenden wir den restlichen Erlös an ein lokales Jugend-Segelprogramm.
Für unser großes Abenteuer im Jahr 2022 segelten wir nach Hawaii und nach Alaska. Im Jahr 2023 verbrachten wir sechs Monate in Alaska, wo wir durch den Golf von Alaska segelten und entlang der Alaska-Halbinsel kreuzten. im Kodiak-Archipel und im Prince William Sound, bevor wir uns auf den Weg nach Süden, nach Südost-Alaska und Kanada und zurück nach San Francisco machten.
Im Jahr 2024 bieten wir wieder Kreuzfahrten in der SF Bay an, bevor wir im Juli zurück nach Hawaii segeln. Unsere Reise wird uns weiter nach Süden führen, schließlich um Kap Hoorn herum.
