We didn't know what to expect (ship, crew, guests, living in confined quarters), but got our money's worth in every respect. Liv and Jans are perfect hosts who showed us life and work on board, who maintain the ship with great love and passion. We've never had a more relaxed holiday, the guests bonded almost like family whilst cooking, at the mess table in the evening or chatting on deck. It doesn't get any better. Boat size, number of guests, the hosts - perfect for us as beginners. Thank you.
Experiencing the Danish South Sea Islands on the Iris was a wonderful experience. Besides the impressive nature and landscape, we also grew fond of the ship and the crew during the voyage. Both of them set the sails with us, brought us safely to every berth, patiently answered all questions. And laughed a lot with us.
Working together on the ropes, preparing and cooking meals and spending evenings together, you also get to know the other travellers. And the ship is still large enough that you can also keep out of each other's way.
