Faroe Islands – Shetland Islands – Orkney Islands
You're not looking for an ordinary sailing experience, but real adventure? Then join us on an extraordinary trip through the rugged North Atlantic – from the spectacular Faroe Islands via the wild Shetland Islands to Kirkwall in the Orkneys.
This cabin charter is aimed at everyone who loves nature, seafaring and the unspoilt. Together we sail through impressive landscapes with steep cliffs, deeply carved fjords and wildlife that is second to none. Seabirds, dolphins and with a bit of luck even whales accompany us on our way.
The legs are challenging and offer real offshore sailing – perfect for anyone who wants to get stuck in and expand their sailing skills. Whether at the helm, trimming the sails or navigating: you're part of the crew and experience the trip not as a passenger, but right in the thick of it.
On Shetland charming little harbours, Nordic serenity and a fascinating blend of Scottish and Scandinavian culture await us. Further south we reach Kirkwall on Orkney – a place full of history, maritime tradition and relaxed atmosphere.
What awaits you:
- Challenging offshore sailing in the North Atlantic
- Active participation as a crew member
- Breathtaking, unspoilt nature
- Small crew, personal atmosphere
- Unforgettable nights under clear skies
Who is the trip suitable for?
For adventurous crew members with an interest in sailing – prior experience is helpful but not essential. Important are team spirit, sea legs and the desire to embrace wind, weather and real life at sea.
Experience sailing in its most authentic form – intense, honest and unforgettable.
