Join us on a special sailing trip right across Scotland: from Inverness on the North Sea, this route takes you through the legendary Caledonian Canal to the wild west coast at Oban. A voyage that combines calm inland waters, impressive landscapes and a piece of genuine maritime history.
We start in Inverness and soon immerse ourselves in the silent world of the Caledonian Canal. Via locks and lochs, we make our way step by step through the heart of the Highlands. Highlights include the legendary Loch Ness and the impressive flight of locks at Fort Augustus – an experience that combines seafaring and engineering in a special way.
On board, you're an active part of the crew: when locking through, navigating and mooring, you lend a hand and learn the special characteristics of inland navigation. At the same time, there's plenty of time to enjoy the passing scenery – green hills, mirror-calm lochs and a tranquillity that one rarely finds.
The further west we go, the more the landscape opens up. Beyond Corpach, we finally reach coastal waters again and set course for Oban – the gateway to the Hebrides. Here the trip ends with fresh Atlantic air, a maritime atmosphere and many unforgettable impressions to take home.
