Dover – English Channel – Amsterdam

Join us on a varied sailing trip along one of Europe's most exciting coasts: from Dover with its famous white cliffs through the North Sea via Belgium and the Dutch coast to Amsterdam. A route full of tides, navigation and maritime life.
We start in Dover and leave the English Channel heading for the North Sea. Right from the start, this sailing area shows its dynamic character: strong currents, traffic separation schemes and busy shipping accompany us on our way north.
Along the Belgian coast there are interesting intermediate stops in harbours such as Zeebrugge or Ostend, depending on weather and tide. We continue along the Dutch coast, where we experience first-hand the interplay of wind, hydraulic engineering and intensive shipping.
Navigation in this sailing area is challenging and varied: tide planning, locks, traffic and coastal proximity require attention and teamwork. On board you'll be actively involved – sailing, navigating or on watch.
Our destination is Amsterdam, a vibrant port city with unique access via locks and canals. Here the trip ends in an atmosphere of history, waterways and modern urban culture.

Who is the trip suitable for?
For crew with an interest in active sailing in a busy coastal sailing area. Previous experience is an advantage but not essential. Important are team spirit, attentiveness and the pleasure of joining in.
