You want to learn sailing from scratch in the form of sail training? Perfect! Our experienced skipper will show you every move – from tying a fender knot to helming on the open ocean. You don't need to be a sailing expert – previous experience is not required.
This trip is genuine, active offshore and cruising sailing, where working together is paramount. Every crew member pitches in and becomes part of the team. They take responsibility on watch, steer the yacht by day and night, navigate and trim the sails.
These sailing holidays with skipper are also ideally suited to sailing beginners and those who simply want to enjoy the experience – you'll learn the basics of seamanship in a completely relaxed, safe and pressure-free way from our experienced skipper. During your off-watch time you can relax comfortably on deck with a book, look out for dolphins, soak up the sun and unwind completely. Everything is possible, nothing is compulsory – you're booking your floating, safe home for blue-water sailing.

The exact route is not a rigid schedule. The crew decides together where the voyage takes us! Depending on wind, weather and your wishes, we shape the trip individually. Whether we stay a night longer in Ibiza or make a spontaneous stopover in a hidden bay – you help create your dream holiday.
TRAVEL INFORMATION & LOGISTICS
To ensure your Mediterranean sailing trip starts smoothly, here's everything important about the organisation:
Departure: Port de Saint-Laurent-du-Var (near Nice). Our base offers excellent supply facilities and excellent restaurants for the first evening.
Destination: Yacht harbour of Gibraltar (Marina). The harbour is excellently connected and lies directly in the shadow of the famous Rock.
Travel by air: The outbound flight is conveniently to Nice international airport (NCE), which is only about 2 kilometres from our departure berth. The return flight departs either directly from Gibraltar airport (GIB), which is right next to the yacht harbour, or from the easily accessible Málaga airport (AGP). We're happy to advise and support you in organising your travel arrangements.
Check-in: Saturday from 3:30 pm (exact details to follow on booking). Check-out on departure day by 10:00 am.
Requirements: You don't need any sailing experience. Normal physical fitness, sea legs, a love of the water and team spirit for life on board are perfectly sufficient. Suitable for both advanced sailors and beginners!
Ship's kitty: For running costs such as provisions on board, harbour dues and diesel, a joint ship's kitty will be set up (approx. £150–180 per person per week). The exact amount depends flexibly on crew size and your wishes. The skipper is traditionally fed from the ship's kitty.
Accumulate nautical miles: At the end of the trip the skipper will provide you with an official nautical miles certificate for your licences (e.g. SKS or SSS).

Duration: 17 days
Price for the route (flat rate): £1,190.00 per person.
Double cabin for sole use (Optional): Travelling alone but want maximum privacy and extra space? For a supplement of £833.00 (70% of the base price), the cabin is all yours (total price: £2,023.00).
INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Sailing holidays on our beautiful 50.5-foot sailing yacht "Indigo".
Professional skipper who will, on request, teach you theoretical and practical sailing skills.
Nautical mile confirmation: We'll be very happy to issue this officially at the end of the trip on request.
NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE (ADDITIONAL COSTS):
Independent travel to Nice and departure from Gibraltar.
Ship's kitty: For provisions on board, harbour fees and diesel. The skipper is traditionally fed from the ship's kitty.
Linen: Please bring towels and bed linen from home yourself.
