For SKS candidates or as skipper training. Sailing experience is required. An SKS examination takes place on Friday. Anyone wishing to be examined must be able to demonstrate 250nm before the trip and hold the SBF See. SKS theory knowledge is also required. Examination applications and fees must be submitted to DMYV PZ Kiel 14 days before the examination.

Apart from a toast when mooring or perhaps two at the barbecue evening, there is an alcohol ban on board (drugs and smoking are also prohibited on board). The yacht is pet-hair-free.

The price is per person when booking for 2 people or with external accommodation in Travemünde. Double cabin for sole use 50% surcharge. Plus ship's kitty (harbour fees, fuel, provisions) and own travel arrangements.
The yacht remains in Travemünde every night. Training starts daily at 10am. Crew maximum 4 people + skipper.

All that is needed is waterproof clothing, shoes without black soles, sun protection and a sleeping bag.

The yacht holds a SHIP SAFETY CERTIFICATE and is approved as a training vessel by BG Verkehr. This guarantees the highest safety standard for sports boats and is required for commercial operations. Always check this when booking to ensure insurance cover is in place!
