The Caribbean islands are something you should see at least once in your life. And the best way to experience them is by sailing from yacht to yacht.

Whether Martinique, Tobago or the Caribbean dream of Saint Lucia – the sailing area with its many idyllic islands is so magnificent because you can sail there all year round thanks to the high temperatures. However, the best time for sailing in the Caribbean's stunning waters is from November to April. Not least because the warm waters are home to all sorts of exotic wildlife. You might be lucky enough to encounter a sea turtle whilst snorkelling, or spot the exotic 'brain coral'.

Another reason to choose a sailing voyage to the Caribbean is the steady north-east trade wind, which allows you to set sail whenever you wish. In the Caribbean, sailing really can be called sailing. You only need to use the engine when you – or rather your crew with skipper – are looking for an anchorage. So you can enjoy your voyage to the full, accompanied by the sound of the waves.

Overnight stays in a marina are just as possible as stops in a secluded bay, where you can jump straight from the yacht into the water and soak up the holiday feeling. The individual marinas and anchorages are not far apart.

So you decide with the skipper and crew whether you just want to sail for a few hours on the yacht and spend more time on a shore excursion. Or you decide that one of your longer trips is on the cards for that day. Your Caribbean trip includes so many days that you can fill with unforgettable moments at a lovely marina or bay, or simply enjoying a cocktail or smoking a cigar in a Caribbean beach bar.
