Authenticity of reviews

On Törnfinder, participants can review the providers with whom they have taken part in a sailing trip, a course or a seminar. Here you can find out how we handle reviews.

How we check reviews

Anyone submitting a review states the period of the trip or course and expressly confirms that they took part themselves on the dates given.
Every review must be confirmed via a link in an e-mail. Unconfirmed reviews are not published.
Before publication, every review is checked by us for legal admissibility and plausibility. We do not publish reviews that are implausible or that criticise circumstances that are customary on board a sailing yacht.

Beyond this, we do not check whether the reviewer actually took part. We do not request proof of booking or participation.

Further rules

We publish positive and negative reviews according to the same rules. We remove published reviews if they violate our terms of use or applicable law. We do not offer anything in return for reviews.

Providers can reply to reviews and report reviews that infringe the law. A provider's overall rating is the average of all published reviews.
