For all trips the following applies: questions welcome. You can and may practise everything: navigation in tidal waters, applying the collision regulations and traffic separation schemes, keeping the logbook, tacking, gybing, reefing, helm watch, berthing, casting off, anchoring, operating the radio, MOB etc. If you like and the crew members agree, you can take on and practise 'skipper responsibility' on the Blue Cruise as 'skipper of the day' under 'supervision'. Blue Cruise – everything optional, nothing compulsory.

17.07.– 01.08.26 What a beautiful noise! Wind Wellen Meeresrauschen.... What a beautiful (Blue) Cruise Dun Laoghaire (Dublin) – Penarth (Cardiff) As a frequent cabin charter sailor (with other providers) I was surprised to finally find a top-equipped and cleverly fitted yacht in perfect condition. Skipper Johanna radiates a somewhat 'angular' charm at first glance with lots of rules but you very quickly realise that the top condition of her yacht goes hand in hand with adhering to precisely these rules. Once life on board had settled in after a day or two, her warm and caring attention became increasingly apparent. Suggestions and wishes from the crew were gladly received and implemented wherever possible. On shore excursions and convivial evenings on board she was usually in the thick of it and always had a few stories (and jokes) to share. Wind (mostly) and weather were kind to us so that we could thoroughly enjoy pleasant sailing mostly on downwind courses and varied shore visits. Went on a short trip (4 net sailing days) from Gothenburg to Aalborg with Johanna on the BlueCruise. Great sailing area, lucky with the weather. The yacht was – as far as I can judge – in very good condition and excellently equipped in terms of safety and sailing equipment, both outside and inside (and very comfortable mattresses guarantee a good night's sleep). Johanna's vast sailing experience and many nautical miles sailed are evident. However, when it came to crew management (on this trip at least) there was clearly still room for improvement... If you like things relaxed when sailing – autopilot Kevin-Chantal steers reliably and often. If you want to steer yourself, just ask and you're allowed to. All in all, I had a lovely holiday week.
I sailed for about two weeks with the Blue Cruise from Oslo towards Wilhelmshaven. Skipper Johanna is very competent and executed the trip brilliantly. The Blue Cruise is a well-maintained boat with very good safety equipment. I had a great trip and another voyage with Johanna is planned for 2024.

Everything relaxed and competent, from planning through to execution.

The boat is very well equipped and sails beautifully and there's plenty of space for everyone!
