I'm Pablo, and the sea has been my home since childhood. Growing up in Greece, I didn't just get to know the sea – I took it deep into my heart. My love belongs to Greece, its breathtaking nature, its excellent food, and the unique combination of open space and adventure that only sailing can offer.
My philosophy:
For me, a sailing trip is more than just navigating from A to B. It's a conscious choice to slow down, to immerse yourself in the beauty of the moment as the wind fills the sails and the waves gently rock the boat. At the same time, it's a journey into the heart of the country, to hidden coves and authentic tavernas. My trips are designed to let you experience the true essence of Greece – often off the beaten tourist track.
With 25 years of experience in the travel industry, I know exactly what makes a successful holiday on a small boat. I'm not just a standard skipper who holds the helm. The trip with Pablo was absolutely brilliant. He's a fantastic skipper: calm, attentive, experienced and always friendly and relaxed at the same time. You feel safe with him straight away, while also feeling truly welcome.
What I particularly appreciate is that Pablo explains everything clearly and without any pressure, creates a great atmosphere on board and has a real feel for people and situations. You can simply tell that he not only knows his craft but is also brilliant on a human level.
Not the first and not the last trip with Pablo. Pablo is a master at adapting to his crew. Whether you're after a relaxed swimming trip or want to take the helm yourself: Pablo makes it happen, with his calm and easy-going manner, great local knowledge and excellent cooking skills.
We set off with Pablo on a skipper training course in November - towards the end of the season, we experienced pretty much every kind of weather we could have imagined: sailing through a thunderstorm at night, beating to windward against gusts of up to 8 on the Beaufort scale, manoeuvre training in empty harbours, and sailing in swimming trunks under blazing sunshine. Pablo left the entire planning to us and let us jump in at the deep end, but was always on hand to help when things got tight and to explain what we should do differently next time. It was extremely educational and yet a wonderful holiday at the same time. I can recommend a trip with Pablo 100% - it certainly won't be my last!
We were a wonderfully mixed bunch sailing around Croatia, and I never thought you could laugh so much in just one week.
The wind came and went, but there was plenty of sunshine, great food and a really relaxed atmosphere on board to make up for it.
Pablo ran the whole thing with a pleasant calmness. Everything was well organised, but never stiff or too serious. Anyone who wanted to could sail actively, while those who just wanted to switch off got sea views and a cold beer☺️.
A truly wonderful week in Croatia!
We had a great crew, fantastic weather and exactly the right mix of sailing, swimming and relaxing.
It was my first longer sailing trip, and I never expected how quickly you'd fall into that rhythm of wind, sea and calm.
The bays were dreamy, the water crystal clear, the evenings cosy – simply perfect for really switching off.
Everything was well organised, the boat was in top condition, and the mood was positive throughout.
We had a fantastic trip around Elba. Everything was perfectly organised and planned. Many thanks to Pablo!
Sailed around Elba for a whole week. In short: brilliant! The water was crystal clear, the bays were a real hit.
The yacht was clean, the technology worked. The skipper, Pablo, had everything under control at all times. Absolutely professional and relaxed. Harbour manoeuvres were spot on, even in wind. You could always rely on him.
He showed us the best anchorages away from the crowds. A perfect mix of sailing and chilling out. A clear recommendation for anyone up for an honest, well-organised sailing trip.
We sailed together with Pablo as three couples and had an absolutely fantastic sailing trip in the Ionian Sea. From the very first enquiry to the last second of the trip, everything was perfectly organised. Pablo not only gave us great support with the planning, but was also on board for the entire week - a wonderful, uncomplicated point of contact.
The route in detail:
Our trip started from Corfu. From there we sailed on to Sivota on the mainland, where a picturesque bay awaited us and we spent our first night. The next day we continued to Lakka on the beautiful island of Paxos, where we could cool off in the turquoise water. From there we carried on to Parga, a charming harbour town that invited us to stroll around.
The evenings in the small Greek villages will stay with us especially. Thanks to Pablo's insider tips, we found restaurants that delighted us with authentic, delicious cuisine at fair prices - a highlight after every day of sailing! You can tell straight away that he loves Greece and shares this passion in a really infectious way.
We set sail again for Gaios, the main town of Paxos. We anchored near the small harbour and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Our last stop before Corfu was Plataria on the mainland, where we rounded off the evening in a leisurely way. On the last day of sailing, we headed back to Corfu, where we ended our trip at "Gouvia Marina". As a crowning finale, Pablo took us to a restaurant highlight in Corfu Town that was a real insider tip. It was an unforgettable week full of sunshine, wind and wonderful experiences on the Ionian Sea.
Conclusion:
As a skipper, too, Pablo comes highly recommended. He radiates an impressive calm, even in wind and waves. You feel safe at all times and can fully focus on sailing and relaxing. He has a great feel for the group and knows exactly when to step in and when to simply let us get on with it. This makes for a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere on board.

We had the pleasure of spending a week in the Ionian Sea with Pablo, focusing on the waters around Lefkada, Ithaca and Kefalonia. The trip offered a well-balanced mix of active sailing and exploring bays and scenery.
The trip began and ended in Preveza, an ideal starting point for exploring the region. From there, we first sailed south.
Particularly noteworthy was the crossing to Assos on Kefalonia.
The daily routine was well structured: after breakfast, the anchor was usually weighed to make use of the morning hours for the crossing to the next destination. This allowed for extended sailing phases in which you could actively help steer the yacht or simply enjoy the ride.
We spent our evenings alternating between quiet anchor bays – ideal for swimming and relaxing – and smaller harbours. The mooring manoeuvres were always well prepared and went smoothly every time.
Overall, this sailing trip was an excellent experience. The route planning was well thought out, the seamanship professional, and the whole experience in the Ionian Sea both relaxing and eventful. A clear recommendation for anyone looking for a well-organised sailing holiday in the Ionian Sea.

A phenomenal sailing trip from Athens in the Saronic Gulf that left nothing to be desired! This was our first time sailing with Pablo, and we felt safe and well looked after right away.
The highlight was the nights in two wonderful, secluded bays, where we grilled freshly caught fish right on board.

Week-long sailing trip through the Cyclades from Lavrion to Naxos, via Makronisos, Kythnos, Serifos, Sifnos and Antiparos. The trip's greatest highlight: a freshly caught tuna, caught on the way to Kythnos and eaten the same day in Loutra, prepared raw and Mediterranean-style.
One-week sailing trip through the western Cyclades from Marina Lavrion, with stops at Makronisos, Kythnos, Serifos, Sifnos and Cape Sounion.
Highlight of the trip: a freshly caught tuna, eaten in the bay of Loutra on Kythnos. Plus secluded anchorages, the Cycladic village of Chora on Serifos, the special anchorage at Cheronissos Beach on Sifnos, and a finale with a view of the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion.
Family sailing holiday in Croatia with five adults and five children aged nought to five – deliberately chosen for the sheltered island world, short legs and the option of travelling by car. Aboard a catamaran (Excess 11) from Zadar: sandy beaches, a secret pirate bay, crystal-clear water and unforgettable family moments. The area around Dugi Otok and Ist is ideal for families with small children.
