This leg stays close to the islands.
From La Palma to La Gomera, with time for sailing in between and space for arriving on land. A Canaries sailing trip, typical for this island group. Lots of wind, short distances, different places.

We start on La Palma. The island is green, steep and quiet. From here we sail further east. The legs are manageable, but rarely boring. In the Canaries there's almost always wind. Sailing is a natural part of the day here. At the same time there's enough time to make landfall, go ashore and experience the islands.

Tenerife lies on the route. An island that couldn't be more diverse. Depending on weather and time, a detour to Gran Canaria is also possible. More urban, livelier, a contrast to start and finish.

Sailing and land belong together here.
Under sail in the morning, at anchor or in harbour in the afternoon. Those who wish can get involved in the sailing. Those who prefer to arrive, arrive. Both have their place.

Winter is a good time for this route.
Pleasant temperatures, clear air, stable trade winds. Warm enough to live outdoors. Fresh enough to take sailing seriously. A sailing area that delivers even in the winter months.
