Biscay mile building: Brest–Lisbon

Experience the Bay of Biscay under sail, pass Cape Finisterre and build up valuable sea miles: this delivery takes us around 700 nautical miles from Brest to Lisbon.

From the Breton Atlantic coast we sail across the Bay of Biscay towards northern Spain. Depending on wind and weather, possible stops are planned along the Galician coast and in northern Portugal. The voyage then takes us along the Portuguese Atlantic coast to Lisbon.

This trip offers real offshore sailing with longer passages and day and night watches. You take an active part in daily life on board, take the helm, help with sail manoeuvres and gain practical experience in navigation, the watch system and long-distance sailing. Some sailing experience is required.

We sail on our seaworthy Dufour 50 Classic. The 15-metre yacht has five double cabins, two heads and a spacious saloon. On board are a maximum of eight crew and an experienced skipper.

A mileage certificate can be issued on request.
