To cross the Atlantic under sail, leave everyday life behind and experience how coasts, islands and harbours eventually become the open ocean.

In autumn 2026 our Lagoon 46 "Star of the Seas 4" sets off from Mallorca on an extraordinary voyage: via Gibraltar and the Canary Islands to the Cape Verde Islands and from there across the Atlantic to Martinique in the Caribbean.

The entire voyage covers around 4,100 nautical miles and is divided into four individually bookable stages. You can therefore join a single stage or combine several legs. Anyone seeking the big adventure can experience the complete route from Mallorca to the Caribbean with us.

The route

Stage 1: Mallorca – Gibraltar
approx. 500 nm | approx. 6 days at sea
From Mallorca we sail along the Balearic Islands and the Spanish coast towards the Straits of Gibraltar.

Stage 2: Gibraltar – Tenerife
approx. 750 nm | approx. 7 days at sea
We leave Europe behind and sail out into the Atlantic. Our destination is Las Palmas on Gran Canaria.

Stage 3: Tenerife – Mindelo / Cape Verde
approx. 850 nm | approx. 8 days at sea
From the Canaries the trade wind route takes us further south to Mindelo on São Vicente.

Stage 4: Mindelo – Martinique
approx. 2,000 nm | approx. 14–17 days at sea
Now the actual Atlantic crossing begins. Around 2,000 nautical miles lie ahead of us: days and nights on the open Atlantic, trade winds, stars, sunrises and the special feeling of crossing an ocean under your own power. Our destination is Tortola in the Caribbean.

Between each stage there is a day in harbour for provisioning, technical checks and rest.

Our home on the Atlantic

We sail on a modern Lagoon 46, built 2024.

The 13.99 m long and 7.96 m wide catamaran offers plenty of space and comfort – a major advantage especially on longer offshore passages.

For our guests there are 3 double cabins for a maximum of 6 guests. Each guest cabin is designed for two people. Overall the catamaran has four electric heads with shower.

Equipment includes a spacious saloon and cockpit, a modern galley as well as solar panels, watermaker, generator and electric winches.

Small crew instead of mass tourism

It's important to us that this voyage remains personal. That's why we take a maximum of six guests.

An experienced skipper will be on board. Before each leg there is a comprehensive briefing on the yacht and safety procedures. During the trip, life on board is as much part of the experience as the sailing itself.

Anyone who wishes can take an active part, gain sailing experience and get to know ocean sailing. At the same time, there should be enough time to enjoy the Atlantic, the peace at sea and life on board together.

Las Palmas – Mindelo: €950
Mindelo – Martinique: €2,490

When booking two or more legs there is a 10% discount.

The price includes accommodation in the booked cabin, use of the yacht and its equipment, electric toilets and showers, an experienced skipper, as well as organisation, weather planning, briefing and safety briefing.

Not included are travel to and from the yacht, the kitty for provisions and shared expenses, harbour fees, and diesel.
