Power Combo: Harbour Manoeuvres, VDS, SKS, SBF with Examination 21.08.–28.08.2027 max. 4 sailors M06

And this is what we do with you as part of the "Power-Kombi":

Small crew: We train you with a maximum of four crew members on board, so that each crew member has enough individual learning time. Enough time to sail all manoeuvres yourself(!!) as often as possible.

Harbour manoeuvres: We love harbour theatre!! Especially when things go really well in the harbour!
That's exactly what we want to work through and practise with you, so that in future you have a good repertoire of harbour manoeuvres at your disposal that you master confidently and can apply just as calmly.

Exam preparation: Our skippers get you fit as part of the "Power-Kombi" to pass the exams for the VDS-Segelschein Yacht, SKS, SBF-See and SSS. It's demanding, but you have to get through it!
And you will learn a great deal, so that later on you can skipper a sailing yacht safely, confidently and on your own responsibility.

You can take the exam(s) on our yacht during the trip.

- Technical checks of engine, rig and equipment
- Crew and safety briefing, emergency stations
-Preparing the yacht for departure and arrival
-Weather knowledge (on location), "reading" clouds and wind
-All essential sailing, emergency and rescue manoeuvres
- Stand-on and give-way obligations and right of way according to KVR and SeeSchStrO
- Navigation, buoyage and sound and manoeuvring signals
- Theory questions on all sailing topics, weather and law
- Handling characteristics of vessels in forward and reverse
- Function of lines and springs when coming alongside and casting off
- Correct handling of lines and springs
-Preparation and briefing before departure and arrival
-Mooring and casting off, alongside, stern-to and with mooring lines
- Recognising and using wind effects
-Mooring buoy and anchoring manoeuvres
