From Alimos Marina in Athens we set off on a cabin charter through the Saronic Gulf. Short distances, sheltered waters, many possible staging posts, a sailing area that remains relaxed even with changing winds.

Depending on wind and the mood of the day, we head for places like Aegina, Poros, Hydra, Spetses or Epidaurus. Which route we take, we decide together, depending on what the crew fancies that day.

I've been sailing this area for many years, I know the small harbours, a few safe anchorages away from the crowds and tavernas where the food is really good. You're part of the sailing, totally relaxed, and you can pitch in if you feel like it.

Cabin charter means: you're on board, sailing and the sea take centre stage, I take care of navigation, safety and organisation.

*Morning briefings – starting the day together*
We discuss weather, possible destinations for the day and what the crew would like. Everyone can contribute ideas.

*During the day – sailing, swimming, enjoying*
We set sails together, head for bays, swim in the water or simply lie on deck in the sun. Anyone who wants to can steer, handle lines or set sails.

*Help & instruction – as much as you want*
I'm happy to show you manoeuvres, navigation or harbour procedures, or you can lean back and let yourself be sailed.

*Evenings – in a bay or in harbour*
Sometimes we anchor in a quiet bay, sometimes we berth in a small harbour. Shared taverna evenings often happen quite naturally, anyone who prefers to go their own way can do so at any time.
