Looking for sailing practice, nautical miles and genuine offshore experience? Then join us on this sporty trip from Greifswald to Oslo. Our route takes us through Danish waters, on through the Kattegat and Skagerrak and finally into the Oslofjord.

On board we sail in watches – including at night. All crew members are involved in navigation, weather observation, sail manoeuvres and boat handling. The focus is on the safe handling of a seagoing yacht. The trip is therefore suitable for anyone wanting to build up nautical miles, develop their SKS or SSS knowledge, or simply gain more experience at sea.

Together we master longer passages, night sailing, harbour manoeuvres and daily life in close quarters. Some experience in yacht sailing is an advantage. Equally important are team spirit, reliability and a willingness to take an active part in life on board.

In June the days in the north are particularly long. This allows plenty of time on the water and a special quality of light – especially on the approach to the Oslofjord. Wind and weather on the Baltic Sea, Kattegat and Skagerrak can nevertheless be changeable. The exact route and possible stopovers therefore depend on current conditions.

We sail on a 43-foot Beneteau Oceanis. The yacht has three double cabins and one cabin with bunk beds. She offers ample space for time together on board and good conditions for longer passages at sea.

The final clean is undertaken by the crew. A charge of €15 per person is levied for bed linen.
