SSS practical sailing from Breege on Rügen

On our SSS practical training trip, an experienced skipper will thoroughly practise with you and your crew all the exam-relevant manoeuvres and skills, as well as simulating the exam situation with you and your crew in advance, so that you are optimally prepared for the actual exam at the end of the week.

The focus areas of the SSS practical training trip are as follows:

• Navigation
• Seamanship
• Maritime law
• Meteorology

The trip always begins on Saturdays at 14:00 in the harbour of Breege
The aim of the trip is to successfully pass the SSS practical exam, which always takes place on Fridays at around 12:00 in the harbour of Breege.

The practical training trips are conducted on modern GRP yachts with radar between 38 and 51 feet.

The cost for the SSS practical training trip is €748.00 (€1,309.00 for a single cabin).
Overnight accommodation on board in the harbour of Breege is already included in the price.
In addition, there are costs for the ship's kitty (approximately €100.00 should be budgeted) as well as the examination fee.
Please note that you must register independently for the SSS practical examination with the Zentralen Verwaltungsstelle des DSV in Hamburg one month before the exam date.
