Leg 1: Martinique → St. Lucia

Our voyage begins on Martinique – the green, multifaceted 'flower of the Caribbean'. After provisioning and the safety briefing, we set sail to head south some 80 nautical miles to St. Lucia with the reliable northeast trade winds. Early on we encounter the blue-water classic: several hours over deep blue water, steady winds of Force 4–5, perhaps brief showers. After the long passage we reward ourselves with a relaxed evening in Caribbean surroundings.

Leg 2: St. Lucia → Bequia (Grenadines)

After a restful day ashore it's time once more to 'set the sails!' – about 60 nautical miles take us along St. Lucia's stunning coastline to charming Bequia, the northernmost of the Grenadines. In Bequia we find hidden coves, welcoming restaurants and a laid-back island life – perfect for a relaxed shore excursion and a snorkelling trip in crystal-clear waters.

Leg 3: Bequia → Bonaire (ABC Islands)

Now comes the big challenge: the long passage on the open sea from the Grenadines to Bonaire. Nearly 700 nautical miles with wind, swell and deep water. Vigilant crew management is called for – night watches, watchkeeping and keeping an eye on weather windows. With the Bavaria C51 'Lotte', however, you have a true ocean-going yacht at your disposal: robust, seaworthy, comfortable – made for passages like this.

Here the Caribbean shows its rougher but fascinating side – endless horizons, starry nights, pure sailing experience.

Leg 4: Arrival Bonaire – exploring the island & relaxation

After about a week of ocean sailing we reach Bonaire – world-renowned for its fantastic dive sites and warm Caribbean way of life. We explore colourful reefs, discover flamingos and savour the slow rhythm of the ABC Islands.

We sail with Lotte, a Bavaria C51 from 2017. Lotte is a special vessel and is constructed without restrictions for ocean use and certified by the Berufsgenossenschaft. She sovereignly takes even high waves and delights with excellent seakeeping. Comfort and dynamics have been uncompromisingly combined, so that a cosy camaraderie on board and an intensive sailing experience await us.
