On 13 December the great sailing experience begins and we leave Africa bound for America.

Before we cast off the lines we provision Lotte with sufficient and delicious food from local markets and discount stores in Palmeiras.

The blissful feeling of having made it will set in when we drop anchor on the seabed before the breathtaking backdrop of Grenada or have safely moored Lotte in Port Louis Marina.

We sail with Lotte, a Bavaria C51 from 2017. Lotte is a special vessel and is constructed without restrictions for ocean use and certified by the Berufsgenossenschaft. She sovereignly takes even high waves and delights with excellent seakeeping. Comfort and dynamics have been uncompromisingly combined, so that a cosy camaraderie on board and an intensive sailing experience await us.
