We set off from the "La Lonja" harbour directly opposite Palma's old town! After a thorough safety briefing, line handling was on the agenda. This was followed by our first harbour manoeuvres in the city harbour to familiarise ourselves with handling the yacht. This trip was a family SKS trip. For the children (and the adults too) it was important not only to complete our intensive training but also to include swimming stops and to experience as many different anchorage bays as possible. We managed to deliver that brilliantly. At the end of the trip we had satisfied parents who had passed their SKS practical examination and happy kids!
