On our way through the seemingly endless island worlds of northern and central Norway, we shall experience and feel the overwhelming natural beauty of the north at first hand. Expected trip itinerary:

We sail with POLARIS from Bodø heading south and then, depending on the weather, pass inside or outside the countless islands, rocks and fjords of northern Norway. On our way to Ålesund we shall cross the Arctic Circle, leaving the Arctic Ocean behind. During our numerous stops we visit unspoilt islands, charming coastal villages or anchor in a secluded fjord. In Ålesund we finally reach a city that is large and lively by Norwegian standards, with ideal travel connections for crew changes. Depending on weather and schedule, it may be necessary to cover longer sections of the voyage under engine. Total distance: approx. 260 nautical miles.
