Short week Danish South Sea Islands from Laboe aboard the classic sailing yacht Quadra

The Baltic Sea is the perfect destination for a short, relaxing sailing holiday. In this peaceful sailing area you'll explore islands with gently rolling hills, as well as the surrounding area with its charming harbours, quiet beaches and steep coastlines.

In the harbour of the Baltic seaside resort Laboe on the Kiel Fjord you go aboard the Quadra. The yacht lies just a few minutes' walk from the beach, near several terraces and small shops. After dinner you can go for a stroll or make yourself comfortable on board and get to know your fellow travellers.

After the crew has given a sailing briefing the next morning, we cast off the lines. Then we have three full days to sail through the Danish South Sea Islands. The itinerary depends on wind and weather and therefore varies each time.
Depending on the wind, we might land in Bagenkop, for example. The old fishing village on Langeland is the perfect place for walks in nature. In Marstal, the largest town on the island of Ærø, the maritime museum is worth a visit. Also on Ærø lies the charming town of Ærøskøbing. With its colourful houses and old cobblestones, this picturesque place seems as if it has sprung from one of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales. If we can, we also like to call at the idyllic island of Lyø. This is just 6 km² in size and ideal for walks or a bicycle trip — you can hire a bike at the harbour. Sønderborg on Als also has plenty to offer: a centuries-old castle, many shops, delicious Danish ice cream and a bathing beach just around the corner.

Experience shows that such a sailing voyage on the Baltic Sea leaves you wanting more. The sailing area is so varied that even after years we still haven't had enough of it.

During our trips, alongside the sailing activities, there is plenty of time for relaxing, reading, swimming, chatting and exploring ashore.
Being out in the fresh air all day invariably creates a healthy appetite. That's why our ship's cook spoils us daily with a hearty breakfast as well as a balanced lunch and delicious dinner.
You will be accommodated in a twin cabin. Bed linen and towels are provided.
