The Mediterranean island of Sardinia is regarded by climbers from all over the
world as a top climbing destination. Yet it is not entirely straightforward to give a comprehensive picture of
sport climbing and its possibilities in Sardinia – the climbing
opportunities seem unlimited. Now with climbing course, see below!

We sail the catamaran to easily accessible spots on Sardinia's beautiful east coast:
We start in Mediterranean and historic Cagliari. We set course for the
North and will sail east up the island as far as Olbia.
Along the way we anchor in bays near various climbing areas, climb
easy and more challenging routes as the mood takes us, straight from the sea, and go
swimming after a day's climbing. Life
takes place aboard the modern catamaran. There are large areas for
relaxing, a cosy saloon – we cook on board or eat in
one of the traditional restaurants ashore. The cultural aspect is provided by
brief shore visits to picturesquely situated marinas.
Of particular interest on our route are the climbing areas of Masua, Buggerru,
Baunei and Cala Cogone.

Attention NEW: To get fit for Sardinian rock we're offering a climbing camp in the Orosei area beforehand, at cost price! Unbelievable, I must be (climbing-)mad! Dates 4–9 May, planned is a holiday flat, costs from 4 participants: approx. €270 for me + your own expenses for the flat, food, hire car, proportionately approx. €450 p.p.
